The Firehouse Gallery is located in midcoast Maine, nestled in the charming coastal community of Damariscotta. Since its renovation in 1997, the gallery's owners and directors have made a commitment to providing excellent contemporary art to an enthusiastic audience. Through an exciting series of exhibitions the gallery provides an eclectic mix of fine artists including many from Maine, New Hampshire and Canada's Maritime Provinces.

We encourage you first and foremost to visit, browse and enjoy the gallery. If you request, we are always happy to share information with you about artists’ background and credentials, as well as choice of media and methods. Should you wish, we will make suggestions about framing, preservation or care of your artwork, and provide documentation for insurance purposes. Just ask. We are happy to be of service.

The Gallery Curator or Director can help you locate and select just the right art for your home, business or investment needs in or outside of the gallery.

By appointment, we are available to work directly with you or your interior designer in your home or office to optimally meet your specific objectives. Once your considerations and art interests have been identified we can visit your setting to provide an on site preview of appropriate works.

The Gallery ships art throughout the country and if an on-site visit is not possible, we can arrange for a preview in your home regardless of location.
